The Queen's Meme #25 ~ The UNValentine Grumpy Meme

To avoid getting thrown into a dungeon, here's my answers to this week's Queen's Meme

1. I, Mimi Pencil Skirt Peace Woman, have officially declared war on Valentine's Day. If I see one more chocolate rose covered in stupid red tin foil paper I'm gonna have a fit. What did you get for Valentine's Day?

I got a cool book and a packet of Sweethearts candy.

2. What will you miss most about Valentine's Day?

My girlfriend wishing me Happy Valentine's Day.

3. What could you have done differently yesterday to make the day sweeter?

Eaten my Sweethearts candy.

4. How many roses make a dozen?

I'd have guessed twelve. Or maybe one, if you take cuttings from it.

5. You and your love are getting matching tattoos for Valentine's Day. What will they be?

My girlfriend's already done the matching tattoos thing, and doesn't want to do it again. I might feel inclinded to get a tattoo of her name but I'd be far too squeamish and worried that they'd spell her name wrong (these things can happen), plus why would I need her name engraved on my body when it's already engraved on my heart.

6. My kingdom for a man who can spell. I am so tired of getting text messages from college educated 45 yr old men like .....I miss u ....wat up?.... B there by 8... or the ever popular U home? Does your significant other have an annoying cute little habit you'd like to break?

No, she's perfect.

7. What did you get someone for Valentine's Day, if I may ask?

This year I got that special someone a pug cupid, a DVD, and something I better not mention because it's still in transit and I don't want to spoil whatever surprise stills remaining.

8. No one is looking. I promise.
Write one word on this candy heart you've been dying to say to a romantic connection from your past. I will not tell.

Unbelievably there's not a one-word phrase phrase I've been harbouring all this time for some former love. Can't I just write 'Lynette' on it, that way it'll be anatomically correct.

9. Be a poet. Write a 4-line poem starting with Roses are red....

Roses are red
Violets are blue
This is a poem
But not a haiku

10. What song best describes your Valentine's Day experience this year?

Miss You Like Crazy

11. I, Mimi Grumpy Skirt, am so glad this meme is almost over. This is my final question. I made it eleven questions in honor of the 11 roses I didn't receive. Aren't they lovely? This is my final final question, Regis:
Two cupids are in a knock down drag out fight on the floor of the Senate. One is a constituent from Venus, the other from Mars.
What is the name of the legislation they are fighting over?

It's clearly not over something trivial (like putting the "Saint" back in front of "Valentine's Day" just so that the initials would be less sniggerworthy); after all, it's not easy for cupids to fight, what with the effect their arrows have. I'm guessing it must be something major like the Stupid Cupid legislation where the cupid from Earth is going to be impeached, for his audacity in making Mimi grumpy on Valentine's Day, and the two nearby cupids are fighting for the chance to take over Earth from him and make Mimi happy next year.

"why would I need her name engraved on my body when it's already engraved on my heart" Now that rates an official "Awwwwwww"

Well done.
