Sunday Stealing: The Mud Meme

You can play here.

1. What are your current obsessions?

The internet, Spider Solitaire (a game I must have lost half my life to), and procrastination.

2. Which item from your wardrobe do you wear most often?

I've no idea. I really should start recording my clothes-usage, that way I'd be able to give a definitive answer, plus have another answer for #1.

3. What's for dinner?

Chicken and roast potatoes.

4. Last thing you bought?

If you ask me on a Sunday, it's always going to be pizzas.

5. What are you listening to?

6. If you were a god/goddess who would you be?

I'd be Thor, God of Thunder - call me superficial, but the guy's got great hair.

7. Favorite holiday spots?

My hometown of Fleetwood.

8. Reading right now?

Currently I'm reading and editing a humour novel I wrote. It's laugh a minute stuff (unfortunately that's minute as in really small, rather than minute as in sixty seconds).

9. 4 words to describe yourself.

Nice, lazy, predictable, snarky

10. Guilty pleasure?

Yes, please. If you're offering, that is.

11. Who or what makes you laugh until you’re weak?

My niece, when she sings along, well shouts along, to songs in the car, as loud as she possibly can, making herself hoarse in the process. If she carries on at her current rate, she may well lose her voice one day, but it'll have been worth it for the laughter.

12. Planning to travel to next?

Not sure. I just got my passport this weekend, so the world's my oyster.

13. Best thing you ate or drank lately?

Drinkwise, it's got to be Vimto, foodwise I had some really nice ice cream a few weeks ago (which was just like Mr. Whippy ice cream that they used to sell when I was a kid).

14. When did you last get tipsy?

Tipsy? I tend to leapfrog over tipsy, and go straight to outrageously drunk. That was quite a few weeks ago.

15. Care to share some wisdom?

No, I've got precious little as it is, so I'm not about to go sharing it around.

16. Nicest thing anyone’s ever said to you?

While people have said some really nice things to me (and sometimes they weren't even being sarcastic), I honestly can't single out any of those as the nicest (guess that's another thing I'll have to start keeping records for).

What fun, Thursday and Friday, :-). Those gods are much more interesting than those hackneyed Greek ones.

Spider Solitaire? Wasn't it another one 2 weeks ago? Some vampire thing? I think I remember that, because vampies always stick with me.

I want to read that novel!

Liked # 2 (I can envision this with a little moleskine book with tabs for days of the week etc.) and #15, :-).

Happy Sunday!

You're right, Rikki. Two weeks ago, it was Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines which I've still not finished, but I got to a difficult bit, roaming around a sewer maze where scary creatures kept leaping out at me, so I decided to put it on hold until my editing was finished just because it was taking up so much of my time (the game, not the editing).

As for wanting to read the novel, be careful what you wish for (by the time I've finished editing it, it could end up a haiku, but if you really want to read it I'll hopefully have the second draft ready by next weekend, so if you haven't come to your senses by then and desperately need something to satisfy your reading obsession then I'd happily send you a copy).

Hmm, I wasn't being serious about #2, but now that you mention the moleskine book with the tabs it sounds a lot more tempting.

Happy Sunday!

Anee -- yea Adam Sandler stars with Drew Barrymore. I could watch the movie again and again.

Thank you for reading my answers. :)

He does! He does have great hair! And dude, now I want to get you drunk just to see the not painstakingly edited funnies come out. Have a lovely Sunday Eerie =)

I never could get the hang of Spider solitaire, LOL! Have a happy Sunday :)

Hootin' Anni - Thanks for visiting. You have a great day too.

I Am Harriet - Yeah, pizzas are terrific, the ultimate customisable feast (they beat sandwiches hand down).

Arlene - Thanks for the clarification. All my favourite movies I can watch over and over again too (whereas Drew Barrymore's character would be able to watch any movie over and over again, as if seeing it for the first time, which I'm kind of envious of).

Tilli - Weirdly enough that's quite similar to what my hair was like back in my younger, more hirsute, days (although I drew the line at the winged helmet). Thanks for offering to get me drunk (many have said it's my best feature) and if I'm ever in the neighbourhood I'll take you up on it (although with your friend, JD, you sound you can drink me under the table, whereas the only person I've ever drunk under the table has been myself). You have a great Sunday too.

NurseExec - Wow, you're lucky you never got the hang of it. It can take over your whole life, drawing you into its web like a... well, like a spider. You have a happy Sunday too, hope you get lots of strikes.

I just loved your answers. Any god with great hair is a god to pay attention to. My nephew sings like your neice. He is the one voice that stands out at every school recital. Priceless. :) Happy Sunday!

Thanks for the comments (and sorry it's taken me a week to get round to thanking you).

americanising desi - It was indeed

Tina Kubala - It's a tough juggling act.

Bud Weiser, WTIT - You're a bigger riot. Have a great Sunday.

PennyLane - Actually the pizza was on Saturday (I answered the questions first thing Sunday) but yay for Pizzas any day.

kalea_kane - Loved your answers too. Happy Sunday!

Dracenea - Hey, Nyx. Vimto's a UK non-alcoholic fruit-based drink, which tastes fairly similar to nothing else whatsoever.

Joy - When I wrote it, I was just stating fact. It was only afterwards reading your comment and Hootin' Anni's that I realised what a great thing silence could be.

A Blog In The Rough - Hey, now there's an idea.
